Education
Devices that stay locked down, budgets that stay put
Schools have tighter rules and tighter budgets than almost anyone else we work with. Both are easier to hold when the devices are managed properly from the start.
What usually goes wrong
Safeguarding does not stop at the school gate
A phone or tablet issued to staff carries pupil information out of the building. What is on it, what it can reach and what happens when it is lost are questions with a compliance answer, not just an IT one.
The budget problem is different but related. Devices bought in ones and twos across departments end up on a dozen tariffs and renewal dates, which is expensive and impossible to plan around.
Locked-down managed devices, safeguarding controls, and budgets that match the academic year.
How we help
What we actually do about it
Managed and locked down
Devices set up once and enrolled automatically, with apps, restrictions and updates controlled centrally rather than device by device.
Filtering and safeguarding controls
Content controls applied to school devices wherever they are used, with reporting for the people who have to evidence it.
Budgets shaped to the year
One renewal date, one bill, and plans that reflect a term-time pattern rather than a commercial one.

Common questions
What people in education ask us
Can devices be locked to specific apps?
Yes. Devices can be restricted tightly, including to a single app where that is what is needed, and changed centrally afterwards.
What happens if a member of staff loses a school phone?
It can be locked and wiped remotely, usually within minutes of you telling us. That is the main reason to have management in place before you need it.
Do you work with multi-academy trusts?
Yes. Multi-site billing and per-school reporting are straightforward, and the setup usually gets simpler as it gets bigger.
